I’ve heard from friends and family that this place is expensive and it kind of is, but to be fair, it’s cuz the food is like cultured and hand made. This is my first time having Jamaican food and coming here even though I initially lived in Burleson most of my life. I came here prepared for the prices, which are like 14-25 excluding the tax. I was new and the ladies infront helped me out very well, especially since I’m Autistic. I appreciated the patience. With help I ordered the Jerk Chicken with Bread!! It’s super delicious, I love bread and the natural bread taste was perfect, I highly recommend trying the drinks with your food, brings a whole new dimension of tastes. Though to be fair this was my first Jamaican style food haha. I’m going to try to get my friend to come here to try it.

Jamaican Summers is truly a gem of Johnson County. The food is fantastic, served hot and fresh, and you can tell a lot of love went into the food. From the food to the house-made juices, everything tastes fresh. On top of all that, the atmosphere is great and the service was very friendly. Definitely recommend trying this place at least once.

The only reason this place isn't absolutely perfect is the dining area is too small. The food is perfect, with hefty portions. The lady at the counter was pretty funny and put up with my families waffling with a giggle and a joke.

The food was great. I was a little upset that they were out of Goat. The manager/owner talked me into ordering Hattamon, and it was good as well. I'm sure the Atmosphere is better in the summertime; however, we visited in December and it was raining. Overall, I give it 8 out of 10. The attached menu is correct with updated prices.

Great little spot! I have been in the DFW area for 7 years and have tried many Jamaican spots and this is by far the best and most authentic Jamaican food. Taste as good as home. I wish they were closer to where I live, but whenever I am in the area I will definitely be back.

I always really enjoy getting food from this restaurant. Really authentic, and tasty Jamaican food. As a born Jamaican that’s been in America for more than a decade, it’s difficult to find good Jamaican food. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only downside is their store hours are a bit limited and the food is a bit pricey. I don’t mind because food expensive everywhere right now, so they are just adjusting to the economy. But overall, great food, clean restaurant, good music, great service, and 110% recommend!
